When was the last time you felt calm, I mean really relaxed?

We live life at 100 miles an hour and feel like we are never on top of our never ending to do list…the relentless white noise in our minds, caused by never feeling like we have accomplished everything we need to.

The consequence of this? We get stuck in fight or flight response (stress), which can have disastrous outcomes on our wellbeing & wreak havoc on our hormones.

When we were living in caves, this response saved us! It meant that we would run top speed away from the tiger trying to kill us! Upon reaching safety we would go back to our relaxed, rest and digest state.

However, modern living means that we are often perpetually stuck in this chronic state of stress and quite simply our bodies were not designed to be this way. This causes imbalances and quite often ill health,

The impact on our body will present in different way but can include:

  • Anxiety
  • Insomnia
  • Digestive issues
  • Hormone imbalances

Relaxation Techniques

The good news is that by using quick and effective techniques, you can have a big impact on your wellbeing.

I love to teach & share simple but effective techniques to use throughout your cycle. For example, did you know that most women find it much harder to meditate during their pre-ovulation phase? Instead, fast pace breath techniques are highly effective at this time.
